'Pray we overcome': Kanye West reveals he is $53million in debt... after explaining his album title in ongoing Twitter rant

Kanye West stunned fans on Saturday night after declaring he was $53million in debt.
The rapper made the claim on Twitter ahead of his Saturday Night Life appearance, his latest headline-making tweets in recent days.

The father-of-two, who is known for his extravagant lifestyle with wife Kim Kardashian, tweeted: 'I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt... Please pray we overcome... This is my true heart...

Kanye's surprising claim about his finances comes after he has been on a massive social media offensive this week, hitting out at Taylor Swift, defending his new clothing collection and sticking-up for his father-in-law Caitlyn Jenner.

While his wife didn't address the debt claims, she proudly supporting her husband on Twitter by posting photos of his SNL performance and posting a link to Tidal so fans could download his new album.

Meanwhile, it's not the first time Kanye has talked about how much money he owes.
Last year he admitted he went $16million into debt trying to get his Yeezy clothing line off the ground.

'I was trying to play a sport that’s a billionaire sport. It’s not a millionaire sport and I’m proud of the debt. I don’t care about somebody’s Ghost (Phantom) or somebody’s house. I care about my vision' he told BET.

Setting it straight: The hip-hop star then started to explain the title of his new album The Life of Pablo

Viewers of Keeping Up With The Kardashians know that Kanye and Kim have spent years living at her mother Kris Jenner's home while they waited for their $20million Bel Air mansion to be completed.

Kanye's perfectionism and demands no doubt would have helped the normal building costs spiral upward.

During the flurry of tweets the Only One hitmaker had been responding to various memes on the web which poked fun at his album name The Life of Pablo.

He wrote: 'All memes are wrong... The Life of Paul... The life of Pablo... Ultralight beams... Moms dads daughters sons stand up...'

Kanye explained that his new album is not named after Pablo Picasso or Pablo Escobar, but rather Paul the Apostle.
He then proceeded to drop some knowledge on his followers about who Paul was.

Paul...The most powerful messenger of the first century... Now we stand here 20 centuries later... Because he was a traveler...' he wrote.

'He was a learned man not of the original sect so he was able to take the message to the rest of the world...' came the next tweet. After a few more postings he eventaully said: 'They are calling me to the SNL stage now... Speak soon...'

The latest updates to his Twitter account comes after the star spoke out in defense of his wife Kim Kardashian's stepfather Caitlyn - after the transgender star was attacked following her appearance at Ye's listening party on Friday. He reposted an image from an article mocking her for wearing one of the Yeezy dresses

Ignoring the hateful comments, which implied Caitlyn was embarrassing, he wrote: 'I'm proud of this picture with me and Caitlyn…'

'She gave the most heart felt speech at my wedding,' the father-of-two continued of the I Am Cait star, adding: 'and was there in full support to see me realize this dream…'

Kanye then took a more positive turn, as he shared his support for Rihanna's Fenty Puma Fall 2016 collection.

He shared a photo of the 27-year-old singer and designer on the runway on Friday night, while gushing: 'Wow the paradigm has shifted, She killed it… everything is changed now!!!! Lil Sis kiiiiiiiilled this s**t!!!!!!!

In fact, the star was so enthused after viewing Rihanna's collection that he began posting his tweets in all capital letters.

'HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA F**K ALL THE HATERS PUT YOUR MIUTHERF**KING FIST IN THE SKY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!' he tweeted.
Earlier Kanye had been a bit angrier as he defended his collection and album against criticism from the media.

The star went on another one of his famous Twitter rants as he began by telling those who spoke out against him that they had 'dissed the collection that changed the world.'
'You seem like the type of organization hired to always keep dreamers down… when certain things in history happen you just got to respect it…' Kanye advised.

He continued: 'respect the struggle… respect the hustle… respect the dreams… respect the movement…'

The way they were: The star had previously taken to Twitter in a 15-tweet rant defending himself against critics following the reaction to lyrics against singer Taylor Swift in his new song Famous

The star, of course, also took a moment to boast about the warm reception he had received from many others toward his new collection.

'I had an album listening and clothing presentation and Madison Square Garden…' he said, proudly declaring: 'people were crying… people were throwing up the fist… people were dancing…'

And Kanye was quick to throw shade at those who looked down on his latest collection, quipping: 'you probably got bootleg Yeezy’s on right now…'
But then he suddenly switched sides, appealing to his critics' humanity as he plead: 'I’m a human being… I’m an artist, bro… you have no idea what I’ve had to go through …'

Kanye posted: 'so many people didn’t make it and gave everything they had for me to stand on their shoulders and break through fashion…'The husband of Kim Kardashian continued declaring his passion, calling fashion 'a way of life' for him.

'I’ve given everything I had for this moment… a lot of people feel it’s the paradigm shift …' the star concluded. The star had previously taken to Twitter in a 15-tweet rant defending himself against critics following the reaction to lyrics against singer Taylor Swift in his new song Famous.
