A man has suffered a cruel fate in the hands of a crocodile which nearly used him as a meal by ripping off one of his legs.
The terrifying moment a man's leg is ripped off by a crocodile as onlookers scream in horror was captured on camera.
The footage shows the man as he is dragged from the lake by a couple of horrified friends.
Seconds later, the camera starts shaking and pans away from the shoreline as the man is reportedly attacked by the crocodile.
When the camera re-focuses, three people are seen carrying the injured man to safety as passers-by yell in terror.
He appears to be semi-conscious as members of the gathered crowd watch him being transported away.
One man stood in front of the camera faints and falls to the floor after seeing the man's leg as he is carried past. It wasn't clear what later happened to the man and the extent of his injuries.
