Reverend, Two Others Kidnapped by Gunmen in Kaduna

An important church leader and two others have been waylaid and kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Kaduna State.Rev. Emmanuel Dziggau, the President of the United Church of Christ in Nigeria, ‎and two others have been kidnapped by gunmen along Abuja Road, Kaduna.

The gunmen who were said to have been wearing masks reportedly stormed the Abuja Road crusade ground of the church on Monday and abducted the clergy man and two members of the church while other church members managed to escape.

 

Dziggau and some church members were said to have gone to clear the crusade ground, preparatory to their forthcoming church programme when the incident happened.

 

As at the time of filing in this report, he kidnappers are yet to reach out to the families of the victims.
