'Confusing for sure': Kris Jenner has opened up about her confusion at ex Caitlyn Jenner's sexuality after the transgender star recently revealed she wants to date men instead of women

Kris Jenner has opened up about ex-husband Caitlyn Jenner's recent revelation that she wants to date men.The KUWTK matriarch sat down with Ellen DeGeneres this week who brought up the 'confusing' subject regarding her former spouse of 23 years.

'The last time you were here on the show, you were here with Bruce on Valentine’s Day,' the host recalled.'And now she is Caitlyn. It's confusing because for a while she was not saying whether she was going to date women or men, and now apparently she has said that she's going to date men.' 

'I saw that, too,' said the 60-year-old reality star, before adding that the situation was 'confusing for sure,' 

'I think that I really want her to be happy and be really comfortable in all the things where she says she wasn’t her true authentic self for most of her life. [She] knew when she was 4 that she felt like that. So you don’t want somebody to be miserable or in pain or any of that.'

On a trailer for the new season of I Am Cait, Caitlyn, 66, is seen telling a friend: 'To be honest with you, I don’t see myself dating women in the future. I’ve been there, done that, got three ex-wives,'

Kris told Ellen: 'I think for me, just getting used to that - you know I am human and I have my feelings and I try and it's baby steps - and it's like the mourning of somebody that you feel you are never going to really see or be with again.When Ellen brought up Caitlyn's sexuality orientation again, Kris added: 'That part of it I don't understand' 'I said to her, when this first happened, "you're so excited, you have to wait for the rest of us to catch up,"'

Caitlyn has always dated women and has been married to three women since the 1970s; Chrystie Crownover, Linda Thompson and Kris.She has fathered six children and is also stepparent to Kris' four children with late husband Robert Kardashian; Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob.

During the interview Kris was also asked about her son-in-law Kanye West's Twitter tirades, including where he claimed to be $53m in debt and lashing out at the Grammys and Taylor Swift.

The E! star got laughs when she said, 'There have been days where there should be a no tweeting law and I feel like I will ground him.'

Then Ellen asked about Kanye's debt and if that is real.'I know, I know and sometimes I feel like what he is trying to say…when he was like “oh I am 53 million dollars in debt” that whole thing, what he was trying to say was that’s what he has done to spend on his clothing line over the last 15 or 20 years or whatever its been,' said the E! queen.

'But it comes out not exactly the right way and people get it misconstrued through the media and then its complicated, what can I say.'
