'Doesn't mean you lose that connection': Khloe Kardashian explains why she remains friends with Lamar Odom and other exes.

Khloe Kardashian explained why she stays friends with her exes on Monday in a website posting.The 31-year-old took to her subscription site and discussed remaining close to Lamar Odom, according to a report by the New York Daily News.'Just because you break up with someone doesn't mean you lose that connection,' Khloe said.

'I always want to feel like I can say hi to anyone I've had a relationship with if I saw them in public. I never want to go anywhere and be nervous because so-and-so is there,' she added.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been looking after Odom, 36, since he was hospitalised in October following a binge at a Nevada brothel.Khloe in her web posting said she applies the same approach with her exes to her sister Kourtney's ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.


'He was a huge part of our family and always will be,' Khloe said of 32-year-old Scott.
Khloe said she doesn't stay friends with all her former flames.
'I don't need to stay friends with a guy I f***ed for two weeks LOL,' she said.
'But if it's a relationship that served a purpose in my life, like Lamar, why wouldn't I want them in my life afterwards?,' she added.

Khloe split last month from professional basketball player James Harden, 26, after dating since last June.Her relationship status has been a frequent topic on her new chat show Kocktails With Khloe.

She revealed earlier this month that she split from Houston Rockets star James after finding out he wasn't committed to the relationship.

'I found out he wasn't, and I've got the receipts to prove it,' she said.
Khloe during her chat show also revealed she was on good terms with ex French Montana but they weren't reuniting.

'I think once you let someone see your vagina, it's probably nice to still have a relationship with them,' she said with her typical candor.
