Footballers past and present have been enjoying Valentine's day,Players have taken to their social media to share their romantic day.

Sunday, the feast of Saint Valentine, is a day in which couples around the world do their utmost to show appreciation for one another, and the stars of football are no exception.  

Demonstrating their lives are not solely dedicated to events on the pitch footballers have been sharing the special day with their fans.

Never ones to do things in half measures, Europe's top players, past and present, have flooded social media to express their love for their other halves.
