Undefeated
world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has one of the world's most
powerful punches - but still needed giant bodyguards to protect him on a
genteel London street.
The
heavyweight team guarding the 5ft 8ins millionaire – and his £400,000
diamond-encrusted watch - in Mayfair yesterday included the 7ft tall
Alfonso 'Big Church' Redic - the 31st kingpin of his security detail.
The
four-man squad walked along Mount Street in central London with
Mayweather as he made his way from one designer flagship store to
another - and helped carry his shopping.
Later
the £300milllion boxing star’s security was bolstered by more men and
he was swept away in a convoy of three black limousines.
Mayweather,
38, proved himself a true believer of the mantra, 'if you've got it
flaunt it' as he sported the eye-wateringly expensive jewellery on his
left wrist.
He
understandably wore the prized possession with pride, deliberately
rolling up his jumper sleeve to ensure it was fully visible.
Mayweather
was seen nipping in and out a string of luxury stores which he had the
pleasure of browsing in private as staff barred any other customers from
entering.
He
visited the Christian Louboutin flagship from which one male member of
his team exited with no less than five bags filled with the famed
designer's red-soled shoes.
The
boxing champion then hot-footed it to Balmain with six male companions
and three females prioritising his safety at all times.
Mayweather
was seemingly feeling equally spendy inside the French label's London
store as he showed off his buys on Twitter later in the day.
He
appeared to have bought much of the shop's stock as he shared a photo
showing nine bags filled to the brim with brand-new designer goodies.
The super-rich champ played down his spending spree by captioning the picture: 'Did a little shopping today.'
