ZINEDINE URGES NEW REAL BOSS TO WIN SPANISH LEAGUE TO KEEP FANS HAPPY

Zinedine Zidane has backed the appointment of Rafa Benitez as Real Madrid manager but says that only reclaiming the La Liga title will suffice in his first season at the Santiago Bernabeu. Benitez signed a three-year contract to replace Carlo Ancelotti at the helm of Madrid and Zidane is sure Benitez knows what is expected of him because he is returning to the club he started his coaching career at 20 years ago. 'The club has selected Benitez and it's a good decision,' Zidane said to Marca. 'You need to respect that decision. Benitez is a good choice, but what counts are results.
