XXX: The Return of Xander Cage: Vin Diesel has shared the first images from XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, the third installment in the series. One of the images features Diesel entangled with an unidentified woman on the sound stage, while Diesel says the other shows "the director, producers and myself sitting in wonder as we take in the artistry of the many craftsmen that have built these amazing sets." The movie is aiming for theatrical release next year.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage: Vin Diesel stripped down and shared two new photos from xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, both featuring him with Bollywood star Deepika Padukone. The action sequel, now in production, also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Jet Li. It's aiming for release next year.

Michael Pitt
Ghost in the Shell: Michael Pitt (TV's Boardwalk Empire) will portray a villainous character known as the Laughing Man in the upcoming adaptation of Ghost in the Shell. Scarlett Johansson will star as a cyborg in the sci-fi movie, which follows a task force that deals with very dangerous criminals. Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) will direct; it's scheduled for release on March 31, 2017.
James Franco
Zola: James Franco will direct Zola, based on the true account of a stripper's road trip. It's drawn from a Rolling Stone article by David Kushner, which in turn was inspired by a long series of messages posted on Twitter by Azia "Zola" Wells about her eventful journey to Florida in the company of her friend Jessica, Jessica's boyfriend and Jessica's pimp.
The Driftless Area
The Driftless Area Trailer: In the first trailer for The Driftless Area, a battered and bruised Anton Yelchin receives assistance from Zooey Deschanel in an isolated forest, shortly before she reveals that she's dead. John Hawkes, Alia Shawkat, Ciaran Hinds and Frank Langella star; the movie will be released in April. 

Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Star Wars: Episode VIII: Gwendoline Christie has confirmed that she will reprise her role as Captain Phasma in Star Wars: Episode VIII. Speaking before the SAG Awards, she also expressed her thanks that J.J. Abrams cast her in a role that had previously been envisioned for a man to portray. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on December 15, 2007.

Non-Stop
The Commuter: Jaume Collet-Serra will direct action-thriller The Commuter. He will reteam with Liam Neeson, who boarded the project last September; the two previously worked together on Unknown and Non-Stop (above). The Commuter will follow a normal businessman who gets caught up in a criminal conspiracy that affects him and his fellow commuters. Production is expected to get underway this summer.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Video: A new featurette for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them includes new, if fleeting, glimpses of footage from J.K. Rowling's adaptation of her own bestseller. Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller and Colin Farrell star; the movie opens on November 18.
